Ablative Diode Laser
Medilift® is a minimally invasive laser treatment. This treatment is performed using lasers with wavelengths of 1470 nm and 980 nm. Medilift® is applied delicately by entering the skin with microfibers as thin as hair (200 or 300 microns). Its effect occurs due to the collagen synthesis-enhancing effect of infrared wavelength.
Medilift® treatment can provide the following effects:
It corrects slight sagging in areas such as face, neck and arms.
It contours and tightens the skin.
It triggers the formation of new collagen.
It activates the metabolic functions of the extracellular matrix.
It increases heat and stimulates vascularization.
It reduces lymph and fat tissue.

Medilift® treatment shows that interventions such as surgical incisions are no longer needed for small sagging areas. This treatment is a completely outpatient procedure and rarely requires local anesthesia.
The working principle of Medilift® is that the laser works from the inside out with its selective photothermal effect and an optical microfiber that penetrates under the skin without any incision. Medilift® treatment usually takes 15 to 30 minutes but can last up to an hour depending on the area to be treated. During treatment, patients usually feel a slight warm sensation.
One Medilift® session is usually sufficient to achieve the desired results, but if a significant degree of sagging is present it may be possible to perform a second session after the results of the previous treatment have stabilized (3 months –6 months).
